What is Hosted for You?
Hosted for You is Typza’s website-as-a-service plan for small businesses. We design your website, write the copy, build it, host it and look after it, all for one monthly fee. Instead of paying thousands upfront for a website you then have to maintain yourself, you pay a small setup fee and a fixed monthly price, and every change after launch is handled by us.
What’s included in the monthly fee?
Everything the site needs to stay live and current: hosting, SSL security, domain management, uptime and security monitoring, SEO basics and schema markup, and unlimited changes with a 48-hour turnaround. Copywriting is included for every page at launch and for any new pages you add later. There are no hourly bills, plugin fees or hosting invoices on top.
How much does a hosted website cost?
$297 a month billed monthly, or $247 a month billed quarterly ($741 every three months). There’s also a one-off setup fee, quoted on the call once we know how many pages you need and which features, such as booking or contact forms. You get the exact figure in writing before anything starts.
How quickly will my website be live?
Most sites go live within days of the kickoff call, not months. Your part is a thirty-minute call and a short onboarding form with your logo, photos, services and contact details. The main thing that affects timing is how quickly you review the first version and send feedback.
What does unlimited changes and pages mean?
Send as many change requests as you like: new prices, a new service page, updated opening hours, a new team member or a fresh photo. We work on one request at a time and finish each within 48 hours, then start the next. Pages are unlimited within fair use, so the site grows with the business. Anything that becomes a project of its own, such as an online shop, is discussed with you first.
Who is Hosted for You for?
Small and growing service businesses that want a professional website without managing it themselves: consultants, clinics, trades, coaches, agencies and local businesses. It suits owners who would rather send an email than log in to a website builder. If you want to edit everything yourself, a custom Squarespace website is the better fit.
How is this different from Squarespace, Wix or WordPress?
With a website builder you get the tools and do the work yourself: designing pages, writing copy, fixing layouts and keeping everything up to date. With Hosted for You, we do all of that. There’s no account to manage, no template to fight with and no plugins to update. You send changes in plain English and they’re live within 48 hours.
Will my website look like a template?
No. Every site is designed around your business, your customers and what makes you different. We plan the page structure and write the copy before anything is designed, so the site explains what you do clearly and gives visitors a reason to get in touch.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every site launches with the SEO foundations in place: page titles and meta descriptions, a clear heading structure, fast loading, mobile layouts, an XML sitemap and schema markup. That helps Google and AI search tools understand who you are and who you help. For steady growth in search traffic, the Grow add-on publishes new landing pages and articles every month.
Can I edit the website myself?
You don’t need to. There’s no editor to learn, because every change is made for you, usually within 48 hours. If you’d rather edit the site yourself day to day, a custom Squarespace website is the better option, and we can talk through both on the call.
Who owns the website and domain?
Your domain name and all of your content, including text, photos and logo, belong to you. The design, code and hosting stay with us, which is what keeps the monthly price low and the setup fee small. If you ever cancel, we hand over your content and point your domain wherever you choose.
Is there a contract, and what happens if I cancel?
There’s no long-term contract. Pay monthly and cancel any month, or pay quarterly at the lower rate and cancel at the end of any quarter. When you cancel, the site stays live until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and we hand over your content and help move your domain.
Can you move my existing website over?
Yes. We review your current site, keep what works, rewrite what doesn’t and rebuild it on our hosting. We set up redirects from your old page addresses so you keep the search rankings you’ve already earned.
Can I add more content to grow traffic?
Yes. Grow is an optional add-on: new landing pages and articles every month, built around what your customers search for and reported against enquiries. We scope and price it with you on the call.
