Ajarro
A creative agency competing for considered, higher-value engagements, in a category where every competitor claims the same things in almost the same words.
The problem
Creative agency positioning has collapsed into a shared vocabulary — strategy, brand, digital, growth. When every site says the same words, the buyer has nothing to compare except price, which is the one comparison a good agency should never invite.
The temptation is to solve that with visual noise. It rarely works: heavy animation reads as compensating for a thin proposition, and the buyers with real budgets are the quickest to notice.
Strategy, brand, digital and growth.

Visual noise covering a thin proposition
The approach
Say something specific. Positioning that states who the agency is for and who it is not, in language a competitor could not paste onto their own site without it becoming untrue.
Then let restraint do the signalling. Confident typography, generous space, and work presented without decoration — the visual equivalent of not raising your voice.
Who we are for, and who we are not.
Positioning a competitor could not copy
Confident typography and generous space
Work presented without decoration
What we built
Six decisions that shaped the build, each made for a reason rather than an aesthetic.
A stated point of view on who the agency is for and who it is not, in language no competitor could reuse without it reading false.
Generous space and assured typography instead of heavy animation — quiet reads as expensive, noise reads as compensating.
Projects presented plainly and at scale, letting the output make the case rather than the presentation of it.
A single clear route to a real conversation, rather than four competing calls to action diluting each other.
Enough substance beneath the surface for someone genuinely considering an engagement, without burdening a first-time visitor.
Structure that lets the agency add work and refine positioning themselves as the proposition sharpens.
What changed afterwards
“Mikkel was an absolute pleasure to speak with during our initial consultation. He came fully prepared, asked insightful questions, and offered thoughtful direction that clearly reflected both expertise and genuine care for the project. His professionalism and communication were exceptional. Working with Mikkel on the Ajarro website was one of the best creative collaborations I’ve had. He has a rare combination of design artistry, technical depth, and human intuition that makes a brand feel alive. From day one, he understood the essence of what I wanted Ajarro to represent: modern, elevated, confident, and distinctly anti-agency. He translated that vision into a clean, high-performance site that feels effortless. Every decision, from typography and motion to mobile responsiveness and SEO setup, was intentional and grounded in both strategy and beauty. Beyond talent, Mikkel brings genuine professionalism, clear communication, and a problem-solver’s mindset. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for more than a designer. He’s a true brand partner who brings ideas to life with precision and heart. I truly cannot recommend Mikkel enough!”
