VoltCharge
An EV charging provider installing infrastructure across apartment buildings, workplaces, hotels and public spaces — four very different buyers, each with their own reason to say yes and their own reason to hesitate.
The problem
The single site had to convince a property manager worried about tenant demand, an HR director thinking about staff perks, a hotel weighing guest experience, and a council considering public provision. Speaking to all four generically meant speaking to none of them convincingly.
Underneath that, EV charging is still a category where buyers do not know what they are specifying. Anyone selling it has to educate before they can sell, and the previous approach led with product rather than with the decision the buyer is actually making.

The approach
Split the proposition by property type rather than by product. Each audience gets its own route through the site, framed around the outcome that matters to them — occupancy, retention, guest ratings, public commitment — instead of a shared list of chargers.
The visual direction leaned into open road and forest imagery to keep the sustainability story present without turning it into the whole argument. Commercial case first, environmental case as reinforcement.

What we built
Six decisions that shaped the build, each made for a reason rather than an aesthetic.
Dedicated paths for apartments, workplaces, hotels and public spaces, so each visitor sees the version of the argument that applies to them.
Each page leads with what installing changes for that property type, not with charger specifications a buyer cannot yet interpret.
The questions buyers ask before committing — capacity, cost, installation disruption — answered in place rather than hidden in a downloadable PDF.
Open road and landscape photography keeps the sustainability story present without letting it displace the commercial case.
A form that identifies which kind of buyer is enquiring, so the first reply already speaks to their situation.
Clean Squarespace structure so a fifth or sixth property type can be added later without rebuilding the navigation.
What changed afterwards
