Luxury website design that feels as considered as what you sell.

Your clients decide whether you are worth the price before they read a word, and a template site tells them you are not. We design custom websites for high-end brands: restrained, fast and built to turn the right visitor into an enquiry, at a fixed price agreed before we start.

See what the audit checks

Luxury clients don't compare prices. They compare how carefully everything has been done.

A high-end client reads a website the way they read a showroom: the space, the light, the pace, what has been left out. When a site feels crowded, rushed or borrowed from a template, the price starts to look like a risk instead of a promise, and the enquiry goes to the brand whose site feels like its product.

What makes a website read as luxury

Each part below is there because it changes how much a visitor believes you are worth.

Restraint, designed on purpose

Fewer words, more space, one idea per screen. Luxury is mostly what you choose not to show, and getting that right takes more design work, not less.

Typography with a point of view

A display face and a text face chosen for your brand, then set with care for size, spacing and rhythm. On a high-end site, type does most of the work.

Photography that carries the price

Layouts built around your best images, cropped properly on every screen, never squeezed into a template's boxes.

Pace, not effects

Slow, quiet reveals and nothing that flashes or bounces. The site should move the way a good showroom feels.

Fast, even with large images

Images are sized for each screen and nothing loads that isn't used, so the site feels instant on a phone. A slow luxury site feels cheap.

An enquiry that feels personal

A short, considerate form or a call booked directly, so the first contact feels as attentive as the service itself.

A studio we did this for: Ajarro

A creative agency competing for considered, higher-value engagements, in a category where every competitor claims the same things in almost the same words.

Ajarro website by Typza

The same words as every other agency

Creative agency positioning has collapsed into a shared vocabulary, strategy, brand, digital, growth. When every site says the same words, the buyer has nothing to compare except price, which is the one comparison a good agency should never invite.

The temptation is to solve that with visual noise. It rarely works: heavy animation reads as compensating for a thin proposition, and the buyers with real budgets are the quickest to notice.

Specific positioning, confident restraint

Say something specific. Positioning that states who the agency is for and who it is not, in language a competitor could not paste onto their own site without it becoming untrue.

Then let restraint do the signalling. Confident typography, generous space, and work presented without decoration, the visual equivalent of not raising your voice.

Six decisions that shaped the build, each made for a reason rather than an aesthetic.

  • Positioning that commitsA stated point of view on who the agency is for and who it is not, in language no competitor could reuse without it reading false.
  • Restraint as confidenceGenerous space and assured typography instead of heavy animation, quiet reads as expensive, noise reads as compensating.
  • Work without decorationProjects presented plainly and at scale, letting the output make the case rather than the presentation of it.
  • One serious next stepA single clear route to a real conversation, rather than four competing calls to action diluting each other.

“From day one, he understood the essence of what I wanted Ajarro to represent: modern, elevated, confident, and distinctly anti-agency. He translated that vision into a clean, high-performance site that feels effortless. Every decision, from typography and motion to mobile responsiveness and SEO setup, was intentional and grounded in both strategy and beauty.”

How your luxury website gets built

Four stages, in the same order every time. How long each takes depends on the size of the site, and you get the timeline in writing before anything starts.

  1. Discovery

One call and a short form. Who your best clients are, which brands they compare you with, and what they expect to see before they enquire.

  2. Copy first

We write your homepage copy first and show it on a mockup, then every other page. You see the words in place before we design.

  3. Design and build

Designed custom from a blank canvas, desktop and mobile, with type, space and photography set for your brand. SEO, schema and analytics are wired in as we go.

  4. Launch and handover

Every URL redirected so existing rankings hold, then training, 30 days of support, and full ownership in your name.

3 to 4 hours That is all the time it takes from you: a discovery call, a copy review and a site review. Gathering photography is usually the longest part, and it can run in parallel.

Questions luxury brands ask us

Straight answers before you book anything.

Still have a question?Ask us directly, or talk it through with us on a free 15-minute call.

What makes a website look luxury rather than just expensive?

Restraint and finish. Generous space, a few strong images, type that is set properly, and nothing on the page that isn't needed. Sites that try to look expensive usually add more: more effects, more badges, more animation. Luxury sites take things away, and every detail that is left is finished.

Will we lose our current search rankings?

No. Every URL is mapped and 301-redirected before launch, and rankings are measured either side so anything bringing in enquiries keeps working. Some movement in the first two weeks is normal while Google recrawls the site, and a lasting drop only happens when a migration is not mapped.

What will our brand's site be built on?

Squarespace, on Launch and Rebuild. We build only on Squarespace, so we know it inside out: the design is custom, the site ships in weeks, and your team can change text and add pages without paying a developer. Hosting and security are handled.

Do we need professional photography?

It makes the biggest single difference. A luxury site is built around its images, so we plan the layouts around the photography you have, tell you early where it falls short, and design so that a few excellent images do more than many average ones.

Should a luxury website show prices?

It depends on how you sell. Brands that sell by consultation often show a starting point or nothing at all, and let the enquiry do the work. Brands that sell online need clear prices. We look at how your best clients buy and design the site to match, rather than following a rule.

Can a Squarespace site really feel high end?

Yes, when it is designed from a blank canvas rather than a template. The platform decides how the site is edited and hosted; the design, the typography and the layout are ours to make. Our guide to minimalist luxury websites shows how much of the effect comes from restraint rather than from any platform.

Who writes the content, and can we review it?

We write every page and share it for your review before design begins. On a restrained site every word is visible, so this is the stage to get the tone exactly right. You can correct anything at document stage, and nothing goes live without your approval.

Can we add new collections or projects without a developer?

Yes. Collections, projects, journal posts and pages are all editable in-house, with a recorded walkthrough of your own site. If nobody has time, Maintain handles every change within 48 hours.

How much of our time will this take?

Three to four hours: a discovery call, a copy review and a site review. Gathering photography is usually the longest part, and it can run in parallel. Reviews are scheduled around your busiest periods, so nothing needs your attention when you are stretched.

What does it cost, and who owns the site?

Projects start from $5,000, with the exact figure set by page count, functionality and whether existing content is being migrated. You get a fixed number in writing before anything begins, no hourly billing and no scope surprises. You own the result outright: the domain, the website account and every piece of content are in your name from day one, with no agency lock-in. Full detail on the pricing page.
