B2B website design that gets you on the shortlist.

Business buyers research quietly, compare three or four suppliers and contact only the one whose site answered their questions. We design custom websites for B2B companies that make capability easy to verify and the next step obvious, at a fixed price agreed before we start.

See how your current site scores

Scores for speed, search, accessibility and trust in about a minute.

See what the audit checks

B2B buyers rarely call to find out more. They call the company that already told them.

By the time a buyer gets in touch, they have usually read your site, a competitor's site and whatever an AI assistant said about both. A site of slogans and stock photography gives them nothing to verify, so the shortlist goes to whoever explained their capability, process and proof most clearly.

Built for how business buyers choose a supplier

Each part below is there because it changes whether you make the shortlist.

Capability buyers can verify

Sectors, standards, scope and limits stated plainly. Technical buyers trust facts and dismiss marketing language.

A route for each buyer

Engineers, procurement and directors want different answers. Each gets a clear route to theirs.

Proof without the hype

Case studies, client sectors and outcomes presented as evidence, including when clients can't be named.

The process, stated up front

How an engagement runs from first call to delivery, so a buyer can picture working with you before they call.

Found in search and AI answers

Pages for the problems buyers search for, structured so search engines and AI assistants can quote you.

An enquiry worth answering

A form that captures need, timeline and scale, so the first call starts from something real.

A company we did this for: M1 Catalysts

An industrial catalyst supplier selling to engineers and technical buyers who assess capability before they ever make contact, and who dismiss marketing language instantly.

Marketing copy for a technical audience

Technical buyers are the hardest audience to write for because they are actively suspicious of persuasion. They want specification, tolerance, application detail and evidence, and the previous site gave them marketing copy, which reads as a company with nothing concrete to say.

The commercial problem was compounded by search. Highly specific technical queries were going to competitors with better-structured content, and increasingly to AI answers that had no reason to cite M1 as a source.

Written for the engineer, readable by machines

Write for the engineer. Real specifications, real application detail, real conditions, structured so a technical buyer can verify capability without contacting anyone, which is exactly how they prefer to buy.

Then structure that content so machines can read it too: proper schema, clear question-and-answer formatting, and specificity concrete enough that an answer engine has to attribute rather than paraphrase.

Six decisions that shaped the build, each made for a reason rather than an aesthetic.

  • Written for engineersSpecification, application and tolerance detail rather than marketing language, technical buyers are actively suspicious of persuasion.
  • Verifiable without contactEnough real detail that a buyer can assess capability alone, which is how technical purchasing actually happens.
  • Structured to be citedProper schema and clear answer formatting so search engines and AI answer engines can quote the site as a source rather than paraphrase around it.
  • Rankings protectedEvery existing URL mapped to a 301 with the technical archive migrated by hand, so the rebuild kept the visibility already earned.

How your B2B website gets built

Four stages, in the same order every time. How long each takes depends on the size of the site, and you get the timeline in writing before anything starts.

  1. Discovery

One call and a short form. Who buys from you, what they check before they shortlist a supplier, and what loses you deals today.

  2. Copy first

We write your homepage copy first and show it on a mockup, then every other page. You see the words in place before we design.

  3. Design and build

Built custom from a blank canvas, desktop and mobile, with SEO, schema and analytics wired in as we go, not bolted on after.

  4. Launch and handover

Every URL redirected so existing rankings hold, then training, 30 days of support, and full ownership in your name.

3 to 4 hours That is all the time it takes from you: a discovery call, a copy review and a site review. Gathering content and images is usually the longest part, and it can run in parallel.

Questions B2B companies ask us

Straight answers before you book anything.

Still have a question?Ask us directly, or talk it through with us on a free 15-minute call.

What makes a B2B website different from a consumer one?

The buyer. A B2B purchase is usually researched by several people over weeks, and each wants evidence: capability, process, proof and risk. A B2B site is built to answer those questions in order, rather than to persuade in a single visit.

Will we lose our current search rankings?

No. Every URL is mapped and 301-redirected before launch, and rankings are measured either side so anything bringing in enquiries keeps working. Some movement in the first two weeks is normal while Google recrawls the site, and a lasting drop only happens when a migration is not mapped.

What will our company's site be built on?

Squarespace, on Launch and Rebuild. We build only on Squarespace, so we know it inside out: the design is custom, the site ships in weeks, and your team can change text and add pages without paying a developer. Hosting and security are handled.

Our buyers are technical. Should the site be written for them?

Yes, on the pages they read. Technical buyers want specifications and limits stated plainly, and they dismiss marketing language. Directors want the outcome and the risk. We write each page for the person who reads it.

We can't name most of our clients. How do we show proof?

By describing the work instead: the sector, the problem, what was done and what changed. Our guide to proving expertise without case studies covers the options.

Should a B2B website show prices?

Usually not a price list, but a starting point, typical project sizes or how pricing works helps buyers qualify themselves. Enquiries from companies that can't afford you cost time on both sides.

Will the site help us show up in AI answers?

A Rebuild structures the site so AI answers can cite you: clear page structure, structured data and answers to the questions buyers actually ask. Grow then adds pages for those questions month by month.

Who writes the content, and can we review it?

We write every page and share it for your review before design begins. B2B companies usually know their subject far better than any writer, so this is where your team corrects the detail. You can correct anything at document stage, and nothing goes live without your approval.

How much of our time will this take?

Three to four hours: a discovery call, a copy review and a site review. Gathering photography is usually the longest part, and it can run in parallel. Reviews are scheduled around your busiest periods, so nothing needs your attention when you are stretched.

What does it cost, and who owns the site?

Projects start from $5,000, with the exact figure set by page count, functionality and whether existing content is being migrated. You get a fixed number in writing before anything begins, no hourly billing and no scope surprises. You own the result outright: the domain, the website account and every piece of content are in your name from day one, with no agency lock-in. Full detail on the pricing page.
